Bio

Pearl (known by many as “Jinju”) is truly unique in the world of life-coaches and mental health. With a Ph.D in Neuroscience from Pennsylvania State University, Pearl offers an unparalleled perspective that blends science with holism, facts with feelings, and innovation with intuition. The focus of her practice is to enable individuals to discover their internal power to heal their mental afflictions and create new, inspired ways of living.

Prior to starting her practice, Pearl spent over a decade studying and researching how drugs of abuse (primarily cocaine) can affect the brain, motivation, and behavior. She later spent time working hands-on with indigenous ‘medicine men’ in the Amazonian rainforest of Peru. Recently, Dr. Schroy co-designed the first undergraduate neuroscience course at Naropa University and is on the advisory board of ONE Freedom, a nonprofit helping service members, veterans and military families to transform stress into strength.

Dr. Schroy co-founded 22 Ways, LLC, and created 22 Ways 2 Love You, a documentary film and community art project exploring the dynamic nature of love and relationships in the modern world. Through 22 Ways, LLC she strives to fulfill a shared vision and dream to make a difference for humanity through visual arts and film.

Dr. Schroy holds a Ph.D in Neuroscience from Pennsylvania State University. Her ongoing education includes training programs through Landmark Education and Newfield Network. Dr. Schroy practices and consults with internationally renowned leaders in the fields of psychology, evolutionary biology, contemplative neuroscience and ontological studies.
